Throughout 2017, the number of participants ages six and older in tackle football amounted to roughly 5.22 million. That number includes young kids running around offsides and dropping everything that's thrown their way and future hall of famers and professionals.

Though Cooper was a first round draft pick for the Raiders back in 2015, football analysts still considered Dallas traded a future first round pick to be a bust. Clearly, he's proving them wrong.

• Darius Leonard, LB (Indianapolis Colts) -- Another rising star is rookie linebacker Darius Leonard. Leonard was selected late in the second round of this year's NFL draft and is already one of the best linebackers in the league. Through December 11, he has 135 tackles, 7 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 1 interception. Simply reading his stat line doesn't do his performance justice, though. Watch him play and he won't be underrated anymore.
